Trim short PCM16 WAV files with exact sample-frame boundaries, linear fades and optional linked-channel peak normalization. Free before/after WAVs and recipe: https://single-clip-studio-demos.blithepony4.chatgpt.site/#cue-cut
Editable HTML/CSS/JavaScript source with local file import, waveform selection preview, source/output audio players, WAV download and JSON recipe export. Includes original one-second stereo chirp, processed example and documentation in an 11-file ZIP. $4 source kit, no subscription or build dependencies.
Supports uncompressed format-code1 PCM16 mono/stereo WAV, 8000–96000 Hz, at most 120 seconds and 20 MiB. Start is included, end excluded; fades are linear and each covers at most half the selection. Normalization targets a -1 dBFS sample peak, not loudness or true-peak limiting. Output preserves rate/channels and discards other metadata. No MP3/24-bit/float, recording, resampling, looping, batch processing or engine importer. No automatic saving; export before closing. JSON recipe contains settings, not embedded audio or an importable project.
Tested with actual browser WAV/JSON exports, stereo and mono imports, malformed-file rejection and narrow layout. Direct local-file launch, other browser engines, physical mobile and engine integration unverified. Browser audio decoding checked; listening quality not assessed. Audacity is a more capable free editor. This kit is for developers who want a small editable implementation.
AI-assisted original code, synthesis and cover; no third-party samples/libraries, no Small Signals pack reuse, no exclusive copyright promised. Personal/commercial reuse permitted; do not resell the unchanged kit. Local processing with no network calls or analytics. Checkout uses USDC on Solana; a funded compatible wallet is required. No card checkout configured.
